about ME

I am currently designing responsive experiences for IoT and connected devices for Iris Smart Home, by Lowe's. I aim to provide a clean and intuitive experience for our users that allow them to easily control and automate their smart devices via the web.

Born in Nashville and raised in Miami and Charlotte, I attended a small, arts-intensive high school program at University of North Carolina School of the Arts, and then went on to study at Tufts University and the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, where I earned a BFA in Studio Arts in 2006.

With a desire to integrate my fine art and design background with technology and the web, I completed a User Interface Design Program with The Iron Yard in 2015, where I focused on designing responsive web and mobile interfaces.

In 2016, I joined Iris Smart Home at Lowe's, and since then, have been designing features for Iris Smart Home. A few of the larger projects have consisted of a professional monitoring alarm experience, a camera UI, and improvements to the signup process. My most recent designs focus on a new SaaS plans page, and the device pairing experience for Iris compatible smart home devices.
